The Apricorn Upgrade kit for Video iPod is the perfect solution to increase the storage on your 5th Generation iPod. The kit includes everything you need to upgrade your iPod: a new hard drive, a high capacity lithium ion battery, the tools to open the case and an instructional video.
The upgrade is completed in a few steps. First watch the instructional video. This will show all the steps for the upgrade and how to perform them. After watching the video you are ready to upgrade your iPod. If you need to review a step, the video will allow you to watch the entire process or review individual sections. After the process is complete, just plug the iPod into your computer and restore using iTunes®.
Which upgrade package is best for my iPod?
The Video iPod comes in 30GB, 60GB and 80GB models. Depending on the model, the thickness of the back case of your iPod will vary, affecting the capacity hard drive and battery that you may chose. Please refer to the image right showing the relative thickness of the different capacity Video iPod models.
